Syrian Information Minister Omran al-Zoubi said Sunday that the country would bypass the crisis and defeat the foreign aggression, urging all opposition groups to move immediately to the political work "as time is running short."
"I advise all those who reject dialogue to move to the bank of political action if they have a political and national mentality, because time is running short," Al-Zoubi said at a press conference.
He made it clear that the terrorists are unable to remain steadfast or to keep hold at any checkpoint they attack for "more than 15 minutes."
"The army is present everywhere and will continue to fight terrorism," he said.
Meanwhile, he said the rejection of foreign intervention by some opposition groups is the "minimum level of nationalism."
The information minister stressed that Syria is now subject to an "unprecedented media campaign escalation" and a big portion of the news is incorrect and baseless.
He denied reports that Russia puts pressure on Syria, stressing that there is no change in the Russian attitude toward Syria.
Al-Zoubi denied media reports that Syria arms the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) "and doesn't allow it to take any aggressive action against another state through its borders."
He also revealed that Syria has evidences about the Turkish interference in Syria.
The minister said the Syrian army did not interfere in the Palestinian Yarmouk refugee camp "and we don't want to thrust the Palestinian camps in the crisis." Endi
