ETON DORNEY, Aug. 4 (Xinhua) -- Mirka Knapkovawon of Czech Republic won the women's single sculls gold at the London Olympic rowing regatta on Eton Dorney Lake on Saturday.
Reinging world champion Knapkova led from the very start and established a big leading margin after the first 500 meters. She finished the race in 7 minutes and 54.37 seconds. Fie Udby Erichsen of Denmark, fourth placer in 2012 Munich World Cup, took the silver in 7:57.72. The bronze medal went to Kim Crow of Australia in 7:58.04. Enditem
