The death toll of a bus accident in southern Pakistan on Sunday soared to 25 with more casualties feared, reported local Urdu TV channel Ary.
Over 35 injured people have been admitted to hospital in Hub where the accident took place, said another local TV channel Duniya.
Some of the injured people are in critical condition, said hospital sources, adding that the death toll could further rise.
A bus carrying an estimated 80 people fell into a ravine in the mountainous Veesaab area near Hub, a city some 20 kilometers northwest of Karachi in southern Pakistan.
All the people on the bus were on their way back from a three- day pilgrimage.
Initial investigation showed that poor road condition due to recent rain in the area and overloading were to blame for the tragedy, said traffic police.
