The suspect in twin attacks in Norway on Friday that killed at least 92 people has admitted responsibility, local NRK television channel quoted his lawyer as saying on Saturday.
Behring Breivik, 32, was charged for a car bomb explosion in Oslo city center, which killed 7 people and a shooting at a youth Labor Party meeting on an island, leaving at least 85 others dead.
The suspect said that he believed the actions were "atrocious" but "necessary," defense lawyer Geir Lippestad said.
Breivik was willing to explain himself in a court hearing on Monday, according to his lawyer. |
