At least seven people were killed in a U.S. drone strike launched early Monday morning in Pakistan's northwest tribal area of South Waziristan, reported local Urdu TV channel Express.

According to the local media reports, two U.S. drones fired four missiles at a house in the Wana area of South Waziristan, a tribal area bordering Afghanistan.

On Friday night, the U.S. drones launched a strike in the same afore-said area, killing nine militants including a top militant leader Ilyas Kashmiri, who is one of the five most wanted terrorist leaders listed by the United States.

Monday morning's U.S. drone strike is the 34th of its kind in Pakistan since 2011. To date, a total of 250 people, most of whom are suspected militants, have reportedly been killed in such strikes since this year.
