The South Korean budget carrier JINAir recently launched charter flights on the Jeju Island to Harbin route.
The direct service is operated by Boeing 737-800 aircraft every Thursday and Sunday. The number of the South Korean carrier's linking to Harbin, the capital of Heilongjiang province, has increased to 16 from the previous 14.
In recent years, economic, trade, and tourism exchanges between Heilongjiang and South Korea have been enhanced, and more South Korean people are traveling to or investing in Heilongjiang Province. In 2010, JINAir's Harbin-Seoul flights carried 147,000 passengers, representing a year-on-year growth of nearly 20%. |
