South Korea and the United States will hold security talks involving foreign and defense ministries from both countries, Seoul's foreign ministry announced Tuesday.
The so-called "two plus two" security talks, slated for July 21 in Seoul, will be joined by South Korean Foreign Minister Yu Myung- hwan, Defense Minister Kim Tae-young, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Defense Secretary Robert Gates.
The two sides are expected to discuss issues concerning the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), along with other regional and global issues, the ministry said in a statement. |
