Cristiano Ronaldo will be the most heavyweight player in the Portuguese squad for the World Cup in South Africa, though coach Carlos Queiroz has yet to finalize his line-up.

Queiroz is expected to announce the official roster on Tuesday.

Ronaldo's Real Madrid teammate Pepe should also be included in the squad after the Spanish club's medical staff gave him a nod to play following a long lay-off since the center back twisted his right knee last December.

Portugal was drawn in Group G along with Brazil, Cote d'Ivoire and DPR Korea.
