A five-storey apartment building in Hung Hom of Hong Kong collapsed all of a sudden Friday afternoon, local media reported.

A five-storey apartment building in Hung Hom of Hong Kong collapsed all of a sudden Friday afternoon, local media reported.

The building at 45 Ma Tau Wai Road suddenly collapsed at about 1:30 p.m.. Fire fighters are on the site to search for people trapped inside.

The collapse also caused damage to the building next door, ripping a hole on the conjunctive wall.

So far, one resident has been rescued from the ruins.
