On August 12, Beijing time, the United States defeated Spain in the men's Basketball final at the 2012 London Olympics with a score of 107-100. Compared to the Beijing Olympics, both countries sported a stronger and more talented roster. After the third quarter, Spain only trailed by one point, and the scoreboard read 82-83. However, entering the fourth quarter and building upon the excellent performance of LeBron James, the United States defeated Spain 107-100.
