Guangzhou, the capital city of Guangdong Province, is located in southern China on the Pearl River about 120 kilometers northwest of Hong Kong, and is a key transportation hub and an essential commercial center. At the end of 2010, the average housing price in the city per sq m was about 12,560 RMB.
