tournament on Thursday.
Top seed Lin Dan easily surpassed his Danish counterpart with
straight-set win: 2-0.
Veteran Chen Hong also moved ahead. He also scored a 2-0 victory

Singapore.
Three more Chinese female shuttlers have also gone through to
the next stage.
Men's doubles duo Cai Yun and Fu Haifeng secured a berth in the
quarter finals after a 20-minute game against their Japanese
rivals.
In the quarter-finals for the women's doubles, Chinese shuttlers
took half of the positions.
