China's northwestern Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region will host
the 10th Women's Table Tennis World Cup from September 29 to
October 1 in its capital city Urumqi.
The Women's World Cup, which is ranked as one of the top-class
table tennis tournaments, will feature champions from continent
competitions and top 16 players on the world rankings. Chinese
Olympic and world champions Wang Nan and Zhang Yining will compete
in the tournament.
China has been crowned in the World Cup for seven times since
the event made its debut in 1996 in China's Hong Kong.
