The ongoing World Cup is changing the travel plans of many young
Chinese men, according to a research by a domestic leading tourism
website.
An on-line survey by the Ctrip shows that among the 3,100 people
it polled before Monday, 45 percent believe that they will or might
suspend their business trips or travel plan in order to watch the
World Cup.
More than one-third said they will definitely change their
travel plans to ensure they can watch the World Cup.
Netizens who received the survey were mainly from large
metropolises such as Beijing and Shanghai and prosperous Guangdong,
Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces. They are mostly people in their 20s
or 30s.
