China's snooker prodigy Ding Junhui will join the star-studded
lineup of the upcoming German Open in August.
The roster includes seven-time world champion Stephen Hendry,
two-time Crucible winner Mark Williams as well as Ken Doherty,
Jimmy White, Barry Hawkins, Neil Robertson, Ian McCulloch, Matthew
Stevens, Paul Hunter and Tony Drago.
The world's top cueists will battle against each other during
the three-day competition set for August 25th to August 27th. The
grand prize is 15,000 Euros.
The event has received a warm response from the market, as the
tickets were snatched up at an alarming rate.
The venue, Furth's City Hall, seats 1,000. Tickets went on sale
via the internet last month and sold out in just over 20
