South Korea's world elite table tennis players Ryu Seung Min and
Joo Se Hyuk have arrived in Sichuan to join the local club for the
upcoming China Super League season.
Ryu, the Athens Olympics champion, ranked 8th in the ITTF world
rankings, while Joo ranked 30th on the table. Both players have
joined the Sichuan club in previous Super League seasons.
They will team up with local player Wang Jianjun to challenge
Bayi (the army team), led by world top paddler Wang Liqin, in the
opening round set for this Saturday in Sichuan.
The table tennis China Super League will start its new season on
May 20th. The season will last until August 19th.
