Diving: Chinese Sweep 7 Golds at FINA GP

Chinese divers continued to show their dominance in the sport by taking three more gold medals on the final day of the FINA Southern Cross Grand Prix in Sydney on Wednesday.

The final-day victories increased the gold medal haul of Chinese divers to seven from eight events.

Lin Yue and Zhang Chen, both 15 years gold, finished one-two inthe men's 10-metre platform in a battle between two rising stars, underlining the depth of Chinese diving.

Luo Yutong and Xiang Xumen won the men's 3m synchro, beating Australians Robert Newbery/Steven Barnett and Japan's Yuu Okamoto/Ken Terauchi.

The women's synchro title went to the 2005 world champions Guo Jingjing and Li Ting who held off Australian duo Bree Cole and Sharleen Stratton.
