Liu Xiang Turns to Yoga
Adjust font size:

Chinese Olympic gold medallist Liu Xiang is working hard to break the 110-meter men's hurdle world record and thinks yoga can help.

"I had been looking for a new training regime for Liu which could help him in achieving the 12:90 world record for a long time," said Sun Haiping, who coached the Shanghai native to win China's first-ever Olympic men's gold in athletics in Athens.

Liu equaled the world mark of 12:91 in the Athens final. "Liu's result has been impressive this winter, better than last year," said Sun. "He should be able to reach his best in summer."
