China was the big winner of the German Open badminton
tournament, by winning four titles in five events.
China's top seed and world number one Zhang Ning outnumbered
junior teammate Lu Lan 11-8, 11-3 to win the women's singles
final.
The Olympic champion joined her partner Zhang Jun to win the
mixed doubles title, beating compatriots Xie Zhongbo and Zhang
Yawen 15-11, 15-12.
Young Chinese pair Yang Wei and Zhang Jiewen triumphed in
women's doubles event with a 2-1 victory over teammates Gao Ling
and Huang Sui.
On the men's side, world junior champion Chen Jin proved too
good for reigning All-England champion and compatriot Chen Hong in
the final, winning 15-3, 15-7.
The men's doubles title went to South Korean duo Jung Jae Sung
and Lee Yong Dae.
