Chinese striker Qu Shengqing helps Adelaide United clinch an early final spot at the inaugural A-League Championship. 

Qu, the former Footballer of the Year of China's domestic league, drew the first blood for United as he struck the shot into the top right corner only three minutes into the game.

The goal has been described by local media as a worthy contender for goal of the year.

Alelaide's 2-1 home win over Perth Glory is their seventh straight, giving them a surefire chance to sit at the top of the league during the regular season.
