The Tar Temple is located in Huangzhong County of Xining City, Qinghai Province. Built in 1379, it is one of the six Gelug temples (a sect of Tibetan Buddhism) in Tibetan area and the top Tibetan Buddhism temple in Qinghai Province. [Photo by Li Jingrong/China.org.cn]
