The photo taken on May 21, 2012 shows a partial solar eclipse observed in Beijing. An annular solar eclipse was observed across southeast China early Monday morning. The annular solar eclipse, also named "a ring of fire" eclipse, first started at 6:06 a.m. in Guangxi and north Hainan and was visible in Guangdong, Jiangxi, Fujian and Zhejiang. This is the first annular solar eclipse observed in China in more than 50 years. Other parts of China observed a partial eclipse. [Chinanews.com]
