Hu joins public to celebrate Spring Festival

Chinese President Hu Jintao (R) greets the public as he visits the Qianmen shopping street in Beijing, capital of China, Jan. 22, 2012. Hu visited grassroots urban and rural areas in Beijing on Sunday, the eve of the Spring Festival, extending greetings to the people and celebrating with them the Chinese Lunar New Year.
