Winter storm hits Chicago, flights canceled

A winter storm brought snow and bone-chilling wind to Chicago Sunday morning, Dec 12, 2010, causing more than 1,000 flights to be canceled. The National Weather Service said on its website that a winter storm warning remains in effect until midnight Monday for northern Illinois and northwest Indiana, and temperature are going to plunge while strong wind moving through after snow tapers off on afternoon.
