'Pan 1000' panned by netizens
调侃苹果潘石屹被“将军”

On the morning of Oct 6, Pan wrote on his micro blog: "the board of Apple should make an immediate decision to release the next iPhone and iPad with a price tag of less than 1000 yuan. This would mean that more people can use Apple products, which is the best way to commemorate Steve Jobs."

SOHO China president Pan Shiyi wrote a post on his micro blog which seemed to make fun of Apple following Steve Jobs' death, only to find himself the target of mockery for Chinese netizens, the Beijing Times reported.	据《京华时报》报道，SOHO中国董事长潘石屹就乔布斯逝世发微博调侃苹果公司，却遭网友调侃。

This would mean that more people can use Apple products, which is the best way to commemorate Steve Jobs."	10月6日上午，潘石屹发表微博称，“苹果董事会应该马上做一决定：大量生产1000元人民币以下一部的iPhone手机和iPad，让更多（人）用上苹果，这是对乔布斯最好的纪念。”
Just over 20 minutes later, a netizen called "Tang Ruoding 9983" copied the micro blog and commented: "When Mr. Pan passes away, I hope SOHO China will also sell apartments at 1000 yuan per square meter. I believe billions of people will commemorate you."	21分钟后，网友“唐若丁9983”转发了此微博，并评论说，“潘总哪天要也去世了，也请贵公司推出1000一平米的房子吧，十几亿人民都会纪念您。”
This micro blog was rapidly copied and resent, attracted many comments. Pan was also nicknamed "Pan 1000." (China.org.cn October 9, 2011)	此言一出，网友纷纷转发予以支持，一时间评论无数，潘石屹也被网友戏称为“潘一千”。
