2010年１月１３日，国务院常务会议决定加快推进电信网、广播电视网、互联网三网融合（integration of telecom, radio and TV, and Internet networks/integration of telecom, broadcasting and Internet networks），并审议通过了推进三网融合的总体方案。

       日前，中共中央政治局委员、国务院副总理张德江在参观“２０１０年中国国际广播电视信息网络展览会”时也强调，要加快推进三网融合取得实质性进展。

       三网融合工作分为两个阶段进行。２０１０年至２０１２年为试点（pilot）阶段，２０１３年至２０１５年为推广阶段。

Pilot projects should be carried out to connect telecommunications, radio and TV, and Internet networks from 2010 to 2012. Based on the pilot projects, other projects should be established to connect the three networks comprehensively from 2013 to 2015.
