Ingredients:
10 chicken legs (about 750 g or 1.65 lb)
100 grams (7 tbsp) cooking oil
125 grams (11 tbsp) ketchup
50 grams (0.11 lb) shredded onion
20 grams (1 tbsp) spicy soy sauce
75 grams (5 1/4 tbsp) sugar
2 grams (1/3 tsp) salt
2 grams (1/2 tsp) MSG
10 grams (2 tsp) cooking wine
400 grams (4/5 cup) water
Directions:

Boil the chicken legs in a pot until there is foam on top of the
water. Take out, wash clean in cold water and drain off the
water.

Heat a wok. Put in the oil and stir-fry the onion until it gives a
strong aroma. Add ketchup, sugar, salt, MSG, spicy soy sauce,
water, chicken legs and cooking wine, and bring to boil. Turn to
low fire to simmer for 30 minutes and use strong fire to reduce the
amout of liquid until it becomes sticky. Take out and serve.
