China Develops First Most Integrated Chip for Mobile
Adjust font size:

China announces it has developed the world's most integrated chip for mobile telecommunications.

The news was released Sunday at the "China Chip Project" conference in Beijing.

Analysts say the chip marks that China has become a world leader in this technology.

It will reduce domestic dependence on foreign intellectual property and encourage the country's telecommunications manufacturing sector.

China has seen explosive growth in the telecommunications industry in recent years, particularly in the mobile phone business.
