General Information
The system of people's congress is an organizational form for the state power in China. It is China's fundamental political system. The National People's Congress (NPC) is the highest organ of state power. The functions and powers of NPC include: to amend the Constitution; to supervise the enforcement of the Constitution; to enact and amend basic laws governing criminal offences, civil affairs, the state organs and other matters, and etc.
