A delegation of two Chinese taikonauts and a clutch of engineers
of China's second manned space mission left Macao for Beijing
on Friday after wrapping up a three-day tour in Macao.
The Shenzhou VI team was seen off at the Macao
International Airport by Chui Sai On, secretary for Social Affairs
and Culture; Xu Ze, deputy director of the Liaison Office of the
Central People's government in the Macao Special Administrative
Region (MSAR).
The delegation bid farewell to Edmund Ho Hau Wah, chief
executive of the MSAR, at the government courtesy house earlier the
day.
The 30-strong Shenzhou VI delegation arrived on Wednesday
after concluding its four-day tour in Hong Kong.
The mission, during its stay, made science presentations to the
public, communicated with local students and attended a grand gala
hosted by the MSAR government.
