The China Life insurance company announced in Beijing on
Wednesday it provided unique policies to the two astronauts aboard
the manned spaceship Shenzhou
VI.
This was the second time China Life provided policies to astronauts
after the first astronaut Yang Liwei aboard the manned spacecraft
Shenzhou V two years ago.
As China's biggest life insurance company, China Life tried to
support domestic research in outer space area and hoped to set an
example and provide experience for the whole insurance industry,
which is still new in this aspect.
