Brochures providing basic information on avian influenza were published recently for both Chinese readers and foreigners living in China.

The publication was arranged by the Information Office of the State Council and Zhao Qizheng, director of the office, wrote a preface for the booklets.

The English version is titled "Tips on Avian Influenza". The Chinese version has over 50 color illustrations by cartoonists from the China Daily newspaper.
