CBA teenage center Yi Jianlian of the Guangdong Hongyuan is
leading the balloting for the CBA All-star Game.
The 2.12 meter, 18-year-old has received more than 84,300 votes,
with about a 2300-vote cushion over Jiangsu Nangang's Tang
Zhengdong among Southern Conference centers.
Liu Wei of the Shanghai Sharks led the Southern Conference
guards with about 102,700 votes, while Liu Yudong of the Bayi
Rockets is first among the southern Conference forwards with over
130,300 votes.
In the North, Beijing Ducks' Jiao Jian topped the forward
position with about 115,900. Liaoning's Guo Shiqiang and Jilin
Tigers' Gregoire Roderick are 1-2 at the guard position.
The 10th NBA All-Star Game will be played in Nanjing, the
capital of Jiangsu province, on March 5. Voting continues through
Friday.
