The First Session of the 10th National Committee of the Chinese
People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), China's top
advisory body, held a preparatory meeting Sunday afternoon in the
Great Hall of the People.
The meeting was presided over by Li Ruihuan, chairman of the Ninth
CPPCC National Committee.
The meeting deliberated and passed the composition of the presidium
of the First Session of the 10th CPPCC National Committee,
scheduled for Monday, and a name list of chairman, vice-chairmen
and secretary-general of the presidium's meeting.
Jia Qinglin will chair the presidium's meeting.
The preparatory meeting also adopted the agenda of the First
Session of the 10th CPPCC National Committee and a name list of the
First Session's proposals examination committee.
