Wu Tao of China won the gold medal of men's discus at the Asian Games here on Sunday.

Wu narrowly beat Abbas Samimi of Iran to the second place with a throw of 60.76 meters. Samimi took the silver medal at 60.44, followed by Anil Kumar of India in the third place at 59.81.
