Lee Chul-seung/Ryu Seung-min outlasted Kim Taek-soo/Oh Sang-eun in an all-South Korean men's doubles final in the Asian Games table tennis tournament on Tuesday.

Lee/Ryu won the seven-set match 11-7, 3-11, 11-9, 5-11, 11-7, 3-11, 13-11.

It was the third table tennis gold for South Korea following its victories in the mixed and women's doubles.

Wang Liqin/Yan Sen and Kong Linghui/Ma Lin, both of China, shared the bronze medal.

China, which swept six golds in last games and won all the titles in the 1996 and 2000 Olympic Games, has only managed a goldin the men's team.

Chinese head coach Cai Zhenhua said before the games that his students aimed for three or four golds as the Chinese women would have a sure shot at the team title.

DPK Korea routed 13-time world champion China in the women's team final.
