Japanese Miya Takes Synchronized Swimming Asiad Solo gold Medal

Miya Tachibana of Japan defeated a field of five rivals to take the synchronized swimming solo title at the Busan Asian Games here Tuesday afternoon.

The Japanese scored a total of 97.667 points for the gold, beating her closest opponent Jang Yoon-kyung of South Korea by nearly three points.

Jang took the silver in 94.750, and Chinese Li Zhen finished third in 94.251.
