Increased efforts urged for fighting Yalu River floods
China's flood control authority Saturday urged more efforts to battle flooding in areas along the Yalu River in northeast China's Liaoning Province, to ensure the safety of local residents.

Four people are dead, one is missing and more than 94,000 others were forced to evacuate their homes Saturday after the swollen Yalu River, which marks the border with North Korea, flooded Dandong City in northeast China's Liaoning Province.
