Oxfam's provides an illustration of the devastating impact that climate change is already having on the world’s poorest people on Nov. 27 in Durban, South Africa. Delegations from more than 190 countries are meeting in Durban at a UN sponsored climate change conference from today to chalk out a new global treaty on climate change. Oxfam said without urgent action to slash greenhouse gas emissions, crop yields could fall by more than 50% in some African countries within this generation or that of our children. [Oxfam]
