A mussel is seen on the dried-up bed of the Xinba reservoir in Shilin County, southwest China's Yunnan Province, March 22, 2012. A severe drought has lingered in Yunnan for three consecutive years, leaving 3.2 million people and 1.65 million livestock short of water. A total of 7.9 million people and 676,650 hectares farmland of 125 counties all over the province have been affected by the drought. [Xinhua]
