South Korean Lee Seung-Hun, the third seed of the tournament, clinched the men's singles title at the University Games here Thursday afternoon.
Lee Seung-Hun beat sixth-seeded Russian player Philippe Moukhometov 6-4, 6-2 in the final at the newly-built Beijing Muxiyuan Tennis Center.
Lee Seung-Hun, who suffered slight injury on his knee in the first set, fought to the end and won spectators' applause.
