American Raymond Hunt won Tuesday's first swimming gold with a time of two minutes 0.20 seconds in the men's 200 meters backstroke at the University Games.
The silver medal was taken by Simon Durour of France at 2:00.38, followed by Yu Rui of China in the third place at 2:00.55
