Three Injured as Plane Crashes at Moscow Airport
Adjust font size:

A plane with no passengers except three crew members on board crashed on takeoff at Moscow's Vnukovo airport, the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry said on Tuesday.

The three crew members were injured in the crash, a policeman was quoted by the RIA Novosti news agency as saying.

The ministry said the plane could be either an Airbus A-310 bound for Berlin or a business-class jet Challenger-850. An engine fire could be the cause of the accident. The airport has been closed after the accident.
