Adjust font size:  ZoomIn ZoomOut

At least 21 people were injured on Thursday when a passenger train derailed in Almagro of central Buenos Aires, the Buenos Aires Train company, the owner, told the media.

Rescuers hurried the injured to two public hospitals.

Passengers escaped the crashed train by breaking the windows, the train company said, adding that it had cut off power supply to make the rescuers work safely.

The company said it suspected the crash was caused by sabotage.
