Six French tourist, including five women, were killed and three others injured in a traffic accident in southeast Morocco on Sunday night, the Moroccan News Agency reported on Monday.
The accident occurred when a minibus carrying nine French tourists overturned on a road and fell into a 100-meter-deep mountain valley near the southeastern city of Ouarzazate.
The Moroccan driver survived and the injured have been sent to a hospital in Rabat for medical treatment.
The ice-covered road may be the main cause of the accident, said local police, who are conducting a further investigation into the driver's responsibility for the tragedy.
