The state of the Chinese business travel industry will be under the spotlight next week when the second China Business Travel Forum opens in Shanghai.
Jointly organized by American Express and Shanghai International Conference Management Organization, the forum will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Shanghai Pudong Shangri-La Hotel.
American Express Business Travel's annual China Business Travel Survey, to be released at the forum, will provide an exclusive and comprehensive picture of business travel in China.
Based on interviews with more than 200 participants from private organizations with 100 or more employees, representing six key industry sectors across Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou as well as state-owned enterprises and government organizations, the survey will highlight industry trends covering travel and expenditure patterns, business-travel policies and practices, payment and imbursement methods and online booking.
Speakers at the forum will include Charles Petruccelli, president of Global Travel Services, American Express.
