The tourism bureaus in Chongqing in southwest China and Hiroshima in Japan signed a memorandum of friendly cooperation on Wednesday to develop tourism between the two cities.
The memorandum encourages travel agencies in both cities to develop itineraries for each city and encourage their residents to visit each other. It also sets out rules to encourage the sharing of information and travel management experience between the relevant government bodies.
