Thirty-two people were injured and six are still missing after a fireworks factory explosion in southwest China's Yunnan Province, local government sources confirmed on Saturday.

The 15 injured people earlier reported were only the workers hospitalized on the day of the blast, said Luo Yuegang, deputy magistrate of Jiangchuan County.

A storehouse exploded around 6:20 PM Thursday at Xiaotuanshan Fireworks Factory in Jiangchuan County, when 202 people were working.

One worker has been confirmed dead in the blast.

The factory was immediately evacuated after the explosion. The search for the missing and the investigation into the cause are still underway.
