High-level officials from China and Kuwait agreed on Monday that the two countries should further cooperation and exchanges on law and justice to facilitate bilateral ties.

China and Kuwait had just signed an agreement on judicial assistance concerning civil and commercial affairs, and China is read to work with Kuwait to promote exchanges in legal and judicial areas, said State Councilor Zhou Yongkang.

Zhou, also Chinese Minister of Public Security, said such cooperation will provide effective legal guarantee and service for the relationship between the two countries.

Zhou made the remarks while meeting with Abdullah Al-Matouq, Minister of Justice, Endowments and Islamic Affairs of Kuwait, who is visiting China at the invitation of Chinese Ministry of Justice.
