Some US media made irresponsible reports on the Virginia Tech shooting before finding out the truth, which have disobeyed the professional moral, said foreign ministry spokesperson Liu Jianchao.

China demands the relevant sides to eliminate the baneful influence, Liu said on Wednesday, while commenting some US reports saying that the gunman of the shooting is a Chinese student.
